Job summary

Confidential in Memphis seeks a Director of Human Resources to partner with senior leadership and drive the people strategy across multiple locations. You will align HR initiatives with business objectives while fostering a high-performing workplace culture.

Lead employee relations, workforce planning, talent development, performance management, compensation, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. Establish and maintain HR policies and comply with employment laws across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and executing HR strategy.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, organizational development, and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and geographically dispersed teams.
• Proven success leading talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute human resources strategies that support organizational goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
• Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs that promote consistency and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Oversee compensation and talent management programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
• Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure HR effectiveness and business impact.
• Support multiple locations and business functions while maintaining a consistent employee experience.
• Manage resources responsibly within established budgets and organizational objectives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
