Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Human Resources Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for all HR functions across the organization. This role partners with executive leadership to develop HR strategies that support the company’s objectives, culture, and long‑term growth.

The HR Director will oversee talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, training, payroll/HRIS, workforce planning, and organizational development, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, business, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive HR experience including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or business units strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as strategic advisor to President/CEO and leadership on workforce matters.
• Lead HR team across all locations with clear roles and service standards.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and workforce planning.
• Develop strategies to attract, retain, engage, and develop high‑performing team members.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance concerns, investigations, and terminations.
