Job summary

Brookings Health System is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR team in a rural community hospital setting. You will direct recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations to support our mission-driven care delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and at least five years of progressive HR management experience; PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five years progressive HR management experience.
• HR generalist competencies including employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and development.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work in a stressful environment, manage high workload, and meet deadlines.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
