Job summary

nVent is seeking a Senior Human Resources Director to drive people strategy across our global ISC organization within the Electrical Connections Business Segment. You will partner with site leaders, ISC, HR COEs, and enterprise partners to align talent, organization design, culture, and workforce planning with business goals.

You will lead HR for multi-site manufacturing, coach leaders, and champion employee experience, engagement, and retention.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience supporting manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or industrial environments.
Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations with plant leadership partnership, workforce planning, and employee relations.
Demonstrated success as a strategic HR business partner to senior leaders in a complex, matrixed, global organization.
Experience leading or influencing geographically dispersed HR teams and building consistent HR practices across locations.
Strong understanding of employee and labor relations, compliance, organizational design, change management, and talent development.

Responsibilities

Serve as strategic advisor and business partner to ISC leadership; translate priorities into people strategies.
Lead HR support for multi-site manufacturing operations with plant leaders and HR partners.
Develop workforce planning, succession planning, and talent movement strategies.
Lead organization design and change management for transformation and growth.
Coach leaders on leadership effectiveness, performance, engagement, and culture-building.
Drive standardized HR processes across sites—talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, compensation, benefits, and HR systems.
Leverage HR analytics to translate metrics into actionable improvements.
Promote innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement in HR practices.
