The role partners with the Chief Engineer, Engineering Council, and HR leadership to shape capability, succession, and workforce planning for Corning’s engineering community.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, drive talent development, and ensure organizational effectiveness in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership in engineering talent and workforce planning.
• Experience guiding large cross-functional initiatives with enterprise impact.
• Knowledge of talent pipelines, succession planning, and capability development.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to Engineering Council and Chief Engineer.
• Lead global engineering capability assessments and talent gap closure plans.
• Translate growth plans into engineering workforce actions and plans.
• Develop workforce planning processes and workforce intelligence practices.
• Promote talent mobility across geographies and functions.
• Support MT&E HR organization leadership and programs.
