Job summary

ASPYRE of Bronzeville seeks an experienced HR Director to lead the facility's Human Resources functions, partnering with leadership to support staffing, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement.

The role requires strong HR leadership, knowledge of employment laws, and experience in healthcare settings. The position emphasizes policy development, investigations, and staff guidance with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for leadership roles.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with facility leadership to understand staffing, recruiting, retention, and workforce needs.
• Plan, develop, and implement HR policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, investigations, performance management, recognition, safety, and employee development.
• Identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting and retention strategies.
• Manage and support the facility’s HR staff and provide guidance on HR processes and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Address employee relations concerns and conduct investigations as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is completed and maintained properly.
• Support performance management and disciplinary processes in partnership with department leadership.
• Coordinate employee training, orientation, professional development, and certification activities.
• Stay current on HR trends, employment regulations, and best practices and communicate relevant updates to leadership.
• Partner with corporate HR and facility leadership on HR initiatives and organizational goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
