The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for the Director of Human Resources in the College of Liberal Arts. This senior leadership role provides strategic oversight of HR functions, workforce planning, compliance, talent management, and HR operations across the college.

Based at UT Main Campus, the position focuses on advising the Dean and college leadership, coordinating with central HR partners, and guiding policy implementation to support faculty, staff, and student employees.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 10 years of HR experience, preferably in higher education.
• Strong interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading HR operations in a large, complex organization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and HR compliance in higher education.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee HR for the college and advise the Dean on HR matters.
• Workforce Planning: Develop strategies aligned with college priorities and university policy.
• Compliance: Enforce university policies and legal requirements across HR activities.
• HR Operations: Oversee Workday HR processes and staff security roles.
• Performance & Staffing: Manage merit, promotions, recruitments, and staff development.
• Team Leadership: Supervise HR staff and foster a service-oriented environment.
