Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a Human Resource Director in Chicago to lead the HR function and align people initiatives with our mission and talent strategy. You will collaborate with senior leadership on staffing, policy development, compensation, benefits, and employee relations, ensuring legal compliance.

A Bachelor’s in HR or Business is required, 5+ years of HR leadership, and SHRM/PHR/SPHR certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of HR management experience.
• HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
• Plan, develop, and implement HR policies, procedures, and training programs that support compliance and company objectives.
• Oversee HR programs including compensation, benefits, employee relations, investigations, performance management, recognition, safety, and training.
• Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
• Manage HR staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance recommendations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and technology, and communicate updates to leadership.
• Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
• Perform additional duties as required.
