Job summary

ALIYA Healthcare Consulting is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team in Chicago. You will guide the nursing department, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with the Director of Nursing to implement policies and programs.

The role focuses on staffing, budgeting, and fostering excellent patient care in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years in a healthcare leadership role, Illinois RN licensure, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Qualifications

2+ years in a leadership role in healthcare
Current RN license in Illinois
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate with Director of Nursing to develop policies and programs
Oversee daily nursing operations, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
Maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Identify improvements and implement changes to enhance outcomes and satisfaction
Participate in quality and performance improvement projects
Mentor staff for professional growth
