Job summary

Memorial Home Services is seeking a Director of Human Resources to partner with affiliate operations, drive HR strategy, and align practices with regulatory requirements. You will lead investigations, advise leadership, and ensure policy implementation across affiliates.

The role emphasizes talent development, employee engagement, and collaboration with HR CoE to improve colleague retention and workplace culture within healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional HR certification(s) such as PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience including colleague relations.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs the development and implementation of strategic HR solutions for affiliates.
• Consults and facilitates HR strategies with leaders and ensures policy implementation.
• Builds partnerships with affiliate leadership and guides staff relations.
• Oversees investigations and disciplinary processes; handles escalated issues.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and accrediting standards.
• Collaborates on programs for service awards, recognition and events.
• Leads HR generalists and staff; conducts performance reviews.
• Develops strategies in response to regulatory requirements.
• Advises leadership on tools, processes, and best practices.
• Represents Memorial at employment-related matters as needed.
