RWE Americas, LLC (HQ: Chicago, IL) seeks a Senior Associate, HR Controlling to join the HR & Management Support Function Controlling team within the Renewables Business. You will own FTE and personnel expense planning, deliver monthly executive reporting, and partner with HR and leadership on workforce initiatives.

Responsibilities include enhancing planning processes, providing ad-hoc analyses, and acting as a strategic advisor on cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• - BA/BS in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business (required); an Advanced degree is a plus, but not required
• - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Accounting, Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial or Management Consulting, or other Finance related fields; Renewable energy experience is a plus
• - Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage customer relationships
• - Excellent analytical abilities including ability to condense and explain complex structures
• - Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
• - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; knowledge in SAP, PeopleSoft, Tableau, Power BI is a plus
• - Strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• - Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks
• - Continuous process improvement driving efficiency and quality
• - Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team
• - Motivated self-starter with problem-solving abilities
• - Empathetic and able to communicate with diverse backgrounds
• - Receptive to feedback and personal development
• - Detail-oriented with strong business acumen
• - Integration/change management experience is a plus
• - General accounting and IFRS knowledge a plus
• - Language: English (fluent), German is a plus
• - Other duties as assigned

Responsabilités

• Create and deliver monthly executive reporting on FTE and personnel expense with ad hoc analyses
• Develop and maintain FTE and personnel cost planning models and processes
• Collaborate with HR and leadership to meet reporting requirements and drive cost-saving initiatives
• Coordinate topics across RWECE Controlling and other functions
• Prepare materials for senior management and the Board meetings
• Implement new tools to streamline data handling and improve data quality
