Job summary

POWER Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic HR leader for its union workforce. This role ensures CBAs and labor laws are followed while partnering with field leadership to deliver HR solutions that support operations and union requirements.

You will conduct site visits, manage onboarding and payroll-related processes, handle investigations, and guide performance management and workforce planning for critical roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years HR experience; unionized or construction environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBAs, labor laws, and prevailing wage requirements.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to local job sites.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CBAs and guide leadership on contractual obligations.
• Ensure adherence to union agreements in payroll, benefits, and work conditions.
• Prepare and submit monthly union reports and audits.
• Mediate disputes and maintain positive labor-management relationships.
• Conduct regular site visits and address HR issues in real time.
• Oversee onboarding, payroll validation, and timekeeping processes.
• Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide workforce planning and succession planning for critical roles.
