Job summary

Equifax, based in St. Louis (Clayton), is seeking an HR Business Partner to collaborate with business leaders and align talent programs with enterprise goals. This role focuses on performance, learning, organizational design, and workforce planning within a matrixed environment.

You will advise managers, partner with TA on hiring, and drive strategic HR initiatives, leveraging data and strong stakeholder management. Hybrid in-office with Friday remote flexibility in Clayton, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as a consultative HR Business Partner
• Strong knowledge supporting matrixed organizations and compensation planning, organizational design, and employee relations
• Exceptional skill in handling complex issues and deadlines with clear communication
• Influences positively, handles conflict with tact and discretion
• Ability to attract and assess talent
• Ability to identify client needs and propose practical implementations

Responsibilities

• Serve as partner to leaders to align HR strategy with business strategy
• Provide coaching on organizational design, development planning, and workforce planning
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on requisitions and hiring strategies
• Manage headcount, talent reviews, succession, and compensation planning processes
• Provide guidance on performance management and retention strategies
• Identify skill gaps and support learning initiatives across the function
• Work with HR COEs to evaluate roles and compensation components
• Promote a positive, inclusive work environment and engage in employee engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with global HR teams to align HR strategies
• Analyze data to develop targeted solutions for organizational challenges
• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues
• Participate in special HR projects
