Job summary

Novelis is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support assigned business and functional client groups as part of the North America HR team. The role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing strategic and hands-on HR partnership across talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, workforce planning, change management, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and influencing decisions.
• Strong employee relations, organizational development, and change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner and trusted advisor to leaders and employees within assigned client groups.
• Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and employee development.
• Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and change management.
• Drive talent and performance processes, including talent reviews, organizational planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Support compensation planning, promotions, job evaluations, and other talent-related decisions.
• Use workforce data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, recommending solutions that support business objectives.
• Foster employee engagement and a positive workplace culture through strong relationships and consistent partnership with the business.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, and business leaders to deliver integrated HR solutions.
