Job summary

Shakopee-Mdewakanton-Sioux-Community is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner Manager to provide strategic and operational HR guidance to Tribal Operations. The role partners with leaders across benefits, talent acquisition, compensation, and leadership development to drive workforce effectiveness and culture.

You will supervise HR team members, champion engagement, and lead initiatives in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive exempt HR experience.
• 3+ years leading HR Business Partners.
• Broad HR expertise: org design, change management, talent acquisition, engagement, compensation/benefits.
• Proven ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for assigned enterprises and departments.
• Provide guidance on complex HR issues and conflict resolution.
• Partner with leaders to build high-performing teams.
• Oversee cyclical HR processes: compensation, performance management, talent reviews, succession.
• Lead engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives.
• Develop HR reports and metrics for leaders.
• Lead and develop a high-performing HRBP team.
