Job summary

Chromalox, Inc. in Pittsburgh seeks an HR Business Partner to support Industrial Process Heating and Electric Heat Trace teams and drive HR strategy. You will partner with ETS and Group HR to implement people initiatives and provide strategic guidance to managers.

You will coach leaders, foster engagement, and help the organization attract and develop top talent while aligning with Spirax Group practices and values. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or comparable years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Robust relationship building and influencing skills.
• Strong learning orientation, curiosity and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop close working relationships with the Industrial Process Heating and Electric Heat Trace leaders and their teams by demonstrating a strong business acumen when discussing key business objectives and projects.
• Work in conjunction with the ETS and Group HR leadership and HR COEs to help deliver effective HR strategies and operational solutions that drive business specific objectives.
• Focus on talent related initiatives that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on people-related issues for people managers while demonstrating empathy, credibility, and integrity and maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide advice and support on a wide range of HR issues in keeping with our Spirax Group practices, culture and values.
• Work with various HR partners to manage the implementation and execution of our people strategy with the assigned client group.
• Counsel and coach people managers and leaders on Expectations of People Managers, and provide strategic HR advice to create engaged and high performing work environments that enhance employee engagement and develop the full potential of our talented workforce.
• Collaborate with the broader HR team in the implementation of our operational and talent strategies that build trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness and workforce productivity.
• Brings best practice and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
