Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR/Business or related field
• 3+ years of professional HR generalist experience
• Knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Strong advisory and conflict management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• SPHR/PHR certification desirable
• Master’s degree in HR or related field a plus
• Knowledge of transportation, logistics or manufacturing a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive HR functions including employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and workforce planning within our facilities
• Advise leadership on strategic and tactical HR issues across multiple levels
• Ensure consistent application of company-wide HR policies and practices
• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues as they arise
• Staff executive, exempt and nonexempt roles including sourcing, interviewing, offers and onboarding
• Lead succession planning panels to identify risks and development areas
• Promote leadership development and bi-weekly supervisor training
• Encourage and monitor programs for active leadership and employee engagement
