Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a seasoned Director, HR Business Partner to join the IVS HR team within CSD. This Londonderry, NH based role leads HR for a 1,200-employee sector across Londonderry and Tempe, AZ, reporting to the VP of HR for the CSD segment.

The Director partners with senior leaders to drive engagement, talent acquisition, and organizational effectiveness, guiding HR strategy and governance across multiple locations with high confidentiality and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of progressive experience in human resources or Graduate degree with 13 years of progressive experience in human resources; Prior experience as an HR business partner is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support to senior leaders and employees, partnering with other business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to implement strategic initiatives for business growth and enhance organizational capability.
• Partner with sector President and leadership team to drive engagement, talent acquisition and development, organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a key member of the HRLT in development and execution of segment HR strategic priorities.
• Diagnose complex issues and develop root-cause solutions to enhance employee engagement and experience.
• Ensure consistent application of HR processes and programs aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with leaders to create workforce and staffing plans for available human capital.
• Use metrics/analytics to drive performance and people decisions.
• Advise and counsel client groups on business decisions aligned to conduct and policy.
• Build relationships with HRBPs to influence business priorities.
• Ensure best practices in Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Organizational Development and Talent Management.
• Build and maintain relationships with leadership and employees and provide counsel on HR matters.
• Lead HR projects and initiatives at the sector level.
• Serve as advisor and coach for leaders to achieve objectives.
• Lead a team of HRBPs.
