Job summary

Certerra is seeking an HR Business Partner to support the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) division in the Dallas area. The role blends strategic partnership, talent strategy, and hands-on HR support to strengthen workforce capability in a safety-critical environment.

The HRBP will coach leaders, partner with operational leaders to attract, develop, and retain top technical staff, ensure legal compliance, and drive a high-performance culture across field, lab, and office teams in the DFW

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field; HR certs preferred.
5+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience in field-based environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making.
Proven ability to coach leaders and drive organizational change.
Experience supporting multisite or multi-division operations.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel to job sites, labs, and offices; hybrid in Dallas.

Responsibilities

Partner with division leaders to align workforce strategies with business goals.
Use data and metrics to diagnose challenges and recommend solutions.
Coach managers on leadership effectiveness and employee engagement.
Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning for technical roles.
Handle employee relations, investigations, and performance coaching.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and risk management.
Support compensation reviews and HR operations, including payroll liaison.
