RTX is seeking a high-performing HR Business Partner to support the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit in the United States. You will partner with business and HR leaders to drive workforce planning, talent management, compensation, and benefits, translating strategies into actionable plans.

The role emphasizes collaboration, policy education, and driving engagement across a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree with 12 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 10 years of related experience.
• Experience leading HR processes, providing solutions to meet business challenges, and coaching leaders to build the workforce.
• Experience with HR business applications and systems, such as Workday, Qlik, and applicant tracking, or similar database and query tools.
• Experience in working effectively in a heavily matrixed organization, with solid and dotted line reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and employees
• Partner with AT leaders to proactively identify program and capture talent needs
• Collaborate across the matrix to align on staffing demand and drive staffing solutions using operational and strategic workforce planning
• Demonstrate an understanding of how HR can support business growth and performance
• Translate business and HR strategies into operational and actionable plans
• Embrace and model core values to further advance the organizational culture; develop and implement strategies in support of employee engagement and retention
• Actively partner to deliver the full scope of HR solutions including talent acquisition, performance management, leadership capability and development, compensation planning, employee development, succession planning, organizational effectiveness & organizational development
• Educate business partners and employees on HR policy, process and practice to ensure effective execution and compliance with policies and drive execution of best practices locally
