Job Overview

Position: Onsite (US‑Person required)

Location: Farm Springs, CT, United States

This role supports the Enabling Functions group of compliance, contracts, corporate communications, and legal. The primary focus is to drive talent strategy, manage organizational change initiatives, build organizational capabilities, and support high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the Talent Agenda – lead the execution of talent strategies across a business segment, ensuring alignment with the Talent COE, broader organizational goals, and long‑term workforce needs; embed RTX values into HR programs to drive culture, engagement, and leadership development.
  • Manage Change and Initiatives – oversee large‑scale organizational effectiveness programs that enhance employee experience and drive business results; collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to ensure enterprise‑level impact; lead organizational design initiatives for multiple business units or functions; advise senior leaders on workforce optimization, including role rationalization, succession planning, and talent development; partner with finance and business leaders to assess the cost and impact of structural changes; drive engagement and guide leaders through complex reorganizations while mitigating employee impact.
  • Build Organizational Capability – identify and implement initiatives that strengthen organizational capabilities across multiple teams or regions; provide strategic insights on workforce planning, success, and leadership development that anticipate future business needs.
  • Support high‑performing teams – act as a senior HR advisor to senior business leaders, shaping decisions that impact teams and organizational performance; support leaders with completion of key HR processes for leadership teams; influence leaders to adopt best practices and drive sustainable change; advise on cross‑functional team design, enhance team collaboration strategies, and drive initiatives to strengthen team engagement and performance.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to translate business or functional strategy into organizational and people strategy.
  • Prior roles leading organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in bringing strategy into action, demonstrating measurable business or functional outcomes.
  • Certified or practiced experience in leadership coaching, and at least 8 years of progressive HR partner and/or organizational design and effectiveness experience.

Salary

Salary range: 157,200 USD – 298,800 USD.
