Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an HR professional to work with senior HR teams in delivering a professional and responsive HR service for a designated area. You will provide advice on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and performance issues, liaising with Trade Union representatives and supporting managers and staff with HR policies and procedures.

You will participate in recruitment panels, job matching/evaluation, and deliver bespoke HR training.

Qualifications

• Post graduate CIPD qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience as a generalist HR adviser to managers on all HR issues.
• Experience using HR databases to record and access information.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and support to managers on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and performance management issues.
• Attend disciplinary meetings/hearings and advise on process and outcomes; coach staff and managers on HR matters.
• Advise on terms and conditions including Agenda for Change, employment law, leave, flexible working; support organisational change.
