Job summary

East Pennsboro Township seeks a Housing & Community Development Director to provide strategic leadership for the Township's planning, zoning, and community development initiatives. You will oversee building code administration, subdivision and land development reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting growth and public service excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field with broad knowledge of community development.
• Minimum six (6) years of municipal experience.
• Minimum four (4) years of supervisory or management experience.
• Minimum three (3) years in municipal planning and zoning.
• Minimum three (3) years of code enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Housing & Community Development Department.
• Plan, organize, administer, and evaluate departmental programs and policies.
• Develop and implement policies and standards to promote efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee budget, personnel, and interdepartmental coordination.
• Support Township boards, commissions, and external partners to promote responsible growth.
