Job summary

Insight Global in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes within an acute care hospital setting.

You will perform ad hoc analyses, ROI evaluations, long-range planning, and labor analytics, partnering with department directors and operational leaders to drive financial performance.

Strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights are essential; CPA or MBA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, Decision Support, or Financial Management experience within an Acute Care Hospital
• Strong hospital finance background with knowledge of hospital operations
• Experience owning annual budgets, forecasts, revenue, expense, and volume planning
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query preferred)
• Experience developing or supporting productivity/labor analytics
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Ability to independently analyze data and provide actionable insights
• Experience presenting findings and partnering with operational leaders
• Strong communication skills and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis, ROI evaluations, proformas, and long-range planning
• Own productivity reporting and labor analytics
• Analyze staffing ratios, department volumes, and workforce productivity metrics
• Generate reports from payroll, patient accounting, OR, and operational systems
• Support month-end financial reviews and reconciliations
• Conduct service line and entity-level financial analysis
• Partner with department directors and operational leaders on financial performance
• Assist with development of cost accounting and decision support capabilities
