Job summary

Insight Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team and serve as the right hand to the Director of FP&A. You will own entity-level and consolidated reporting, build and maintain financial models, and prepare CFO- and executive-facing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or similar analytical finance role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capable of building auditable three-statement or driver-based models.
• Strong command of financial statements and translating operational activity into financial results.
• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to distill analysis into an executive memo.
• Experience reconciling data from multiple source systems and handling large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Own entity-level and consolidated reporting monthly close packages, variance analysis, and management reporting with clear narrative.
• Build and maintain operating forecasts, service-line P&Ls, acquisition proformas, and ad hoc analyses for strategic decisions.
• Prepare CFO- and executive-facing deliverables—variance memos, board materials, and financing packages.
• Partner with operational and accounting teams to reconcile data and improve data integrity upstream.
• Support annual budget and reforecast cycles, including building templates and consolidating inputs.
• Pull, transform, and analyze data from GL, clinical/revenue, and data warehouse sources for repeatable pipelines.
• Contribute to acquisition and corporate-development analysis including diligence and integration modeling.
• Continuously improve reporting templates, data flows, and automation.
