Job summary

Perficient, a global digital consulting leader, seeks a Senior Technical Architect for a hybrid role in the Boston area. You will guide strategic technology initiatives, assess enterprise platforms, and work with engineering, healthcare stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned to business goals.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Angular, and enterprise databases, plus experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or architecture leadership.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Angular and databases.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise apps and complex integrations.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Healthcare domain experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, production support, infrastructure, vendors and business teams to resolve platform issues.
• Analyze incident trends, defects, metrics, and root causes to identify systemic problems.
• Facilitate technical reviews, remediation workshops, and governance meetings to drive alignment and accountability.
• Develop fact-based assessments and recommendations using operational metrics and architectural analyses.
• Escalate risks and dependencies to sponsors and executives when appropriate.
• Evaluate architectures, integrations, databases, cloud services, and third-party platforms for improvements.
• Partner with production support teams to improve stability and service levels.
• Present findings and remediation plans to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement on performance, scalability, and customer experience.
