Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to plan ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of supplies for the Surgical/ OR/medical/procedural areas. You will manage service lines, suppliers and PAR locations, coordinating with Clinical teams on disruptions and recalls.

This role uses the ERP to place orders, track receipts and manage PARs, focusing on inventory control, cost efficiency and collaboration across the health system.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supply chain experience required.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to maintain constructive working relationships with administrators, surgeons, staff and suppliers.
• Ability to work in an organized manner in both independent and team environments.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, store and distribute supplies for surgical/OR/medical areas.
• Maintain adequate inventory in a cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate returns and recalls in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot backordered or unavailable items and provide guidance.
• Coordinate across VCU Health system to ensure supplies are available for assigned work.
• Utilize ERP to place orders, track receipts and manage PARs.
