Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Senior Operational Sourcing Analyst to lead data-driven sourcing, contract optimization, and supplier performance management across an integrated delivery network.

You will partner with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to maximize value while ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of business experience and advanced Excel/data analytics.
• 5+ years with ERP, procurement, and contract management systems.
• 5+ years of strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• 5+ years of experience in hospital/healthcare setting (IDN/GPO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Spend Management, customers, and suppliers.
• Build relationships to understand end-to-end spend and support departments.
• Participate in supplier reviews and drive process improvement.
• Ensure contracts are executed per negotiated terms and rebates.
• Analyze spend data to identify sourcing opportunities and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to manage rebates and payments.
• Develop procurement dashboards, KPI scorecards, and executive reporting.
• Act as SME for procurement platforms and data mining for improvements.
• Manage supplier onboarding and vendor setup.
