Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Finance).
• 5+ years experience in business analytics, Excel, data reporting.
• 5+ years with ERP, procurement and contract management systems.
• 5+ years of problem-solving and project management experience.
• 5+ years in hospital/healthcare settings (IDN, GPO, etc.).
• Preferred CPSM/CSCP/CPM/Lean Six Sigma 7+ years.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between internal Spend Management, customers and suppliers.
• Build relationships to understand end-to-end spend management.
• Lead supplier business reviews and drive process improvements.
• Ensure contracts comply with terms, pricing, rebates, and SLAs.
• Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Position Summary / Career Interest:

The Senior Operational Sourcing Analyst is a strategic spend management professional responsible for driving data-driven sourcing decisions, contract optimization, supplier performance management, and Operational Sourcing process improvements across an integrated delivery network. This role serves as a key business partner to clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders, ensuring the organization maximizes value while maintaining quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship. This role combines advanced analytics, healthcare industry knowledge, strategic sourcing expertise, and stakeholder management skills to identify cost savings opportunities, improve supplier relationships, and support organizational goals.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Serve as the key liaison between internal Spend Management departments, external customers and external suppliers
• Build and foster relationships with the intent to understand end-to-end spend management and how best to support each department up and down-stream outside our processes.
• Participate, actively, in supplier business reviews, and ongoing distributor meetings. Challenge the status quo by bringing thought provoking questions and process improvement initiatives to the table for action and deliverables.
• Ensure supplier contracts are executed in accordance with negotiated terms, pricing agreements, rebates, and service-level commitments through the procure to pay process.
• Analyze organizational spend data to identify strategic sourcing opportunities, cost-reduction initiatives, fee optimization opportunities, and overall spend management improvements.
• Collaborate with Category Management and Accounts Payable teams to administer rebate programs, ensure contractual rebate compliance, validate accruals and payments, and maximize rebate recovery opportunities.
• Supports the creation, build, maintenance, and enhancement of procurement dashboards, KPI scorecards, and executive reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Represent department leadership in meetings and facilitate team discussions and communications during leadership absences.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for procurement platforms (including Enterprise Resource Planning, exchange platforms, and Group Purchasing Organizations). Ability to mine data from platforms to identify process improvement opportunities and establish key performance indicators.
• Manage supplier onboarding and vendor setup activities, including completion of credit applications, collection of required documentation, and coordination of internal approval processes.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations, quality standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and coordinate contract escalations to support issue resolution and compliance.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance. Develop and maintain process documentation, implement best practices, and train staff to ensure consistent

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
• 5 or more years of experience in business AND
• 5 or more years of advanced proficiency in Excel, data analytics, and reporting tools AND
• 5 or more years of experience working with ERP, procurement, and contract management systems AND
• 5 or more years of strong problem-solving and project management skills AND
• 5 or more years of experience within a hospital, health system, integrated delivery network (IDN), GPO, or healthcare services organization

Preferred Education and Experience

• 7 or more years of certification such as CPSM, CSM, CSCP, CPM, or Lean Six Sigma
• 7 or more years of experience with Workday, Vizient, GHX or similar healthcare supply chain platforms
