Job summary

CLS Health, a Houston-based healthcare system, seeks an experienced Director of Procurement & Supply Chain to lead centralized procurement across locations. You will drive sourcing initiatives, manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and standardize purchasing to support patient care and financial performance.

You will partner with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to implement consistent processes, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance while building a high-performing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience with at least 5 in a leadership role.
• Experience with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and healthcare distributors.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare contracting, regulatory requirements, and procurement best practices.
• Experience coordinating multi-site procurement operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized procurement strategy across CLS Health locations.
• Oversee vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
• Develop standardized purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to standardize products and purchasing practices.
• Monitor procurement metrics and report on spending and supplier performance.
• Lead and develop the procurement team and foster continuous improvement.
