Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Manager Information Services to lead the implementation, support, lifecycle management and strategy for content within designated programs. You will train, mentor, and coach IS associates, and drive improvements across application services in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, leading multiple projects, recruiting and developing staff, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring staffing and payroll readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, MIS, business or related field.
• Budgeting and forecasting for multi-million-dollar departmental budgets.
• Strong knowledge of major healthcare information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and report to System Director.
• Lead multiple projects and a team of associates.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Manage time and attendance/payroll for direct reports.
• May travel and work outside normal hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
