Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Manager Information Services to lead the implementation, support, lifecycle management and strategy for content within designated programs. The role focuses on guiding design, development and deployment of critical systems, mentoring IS staff and driving process improvements across the organization.

The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects, recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, and collaborate across a diverse healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, business or related field.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and managing multi-million-dollar departmental budgets.
• Strong knowledge of major healthcare information systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, manages, and reports day-to-day operations to the System Director to support efficient planning and prioritization of the body of work for which IS is accountable.
• Successfully manages a full workload across multiple projects, while leading a team of assigned associates.
• Recruits, onboard, train, mentors, and develop direct reports to deliver high quality services.
• Conducts performance reviews for assigned direct reports.
• Manage assigned associates’ time and attendance/payroll.
• May be required to travel to perform duties.
• May be required to work outside of normal working hours.
• Other related duties as assigned.
