The role oversees cost accounting, service line analytics, budgeting support, and data governance while mentoring junior analysts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, finance, and healthcare data, with expertise in Excel, data visualization, and relevant systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques, with the ability to apply these methods to financial and operational healthcare data.
• Advanced analytical skills, ability to interpret and explain complex analyses; proficiency with financial/analytical systems; strong interpersonal and communication skills; advanced Excel and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning: coordinate annual operating budget, volume, revenue, expense and FTE planning.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and long-term financial projections.
• Develop revenue models and IBNR analyses across service lines or product lines.
• Build financial models to evaluate government regulations, reimbursement changes, and market conditions on profitability.
