The role requires extensive data mining and abstraction of financial and clinical information from various sources. It supports proforma, retrospective analyses, service line reporting, charge master support, revenue and reimbursement analyses, and ad hoc reporting needs of management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area or MBA.
• CPA preferred.
• 3 years financial analysis or public accounting experience, healthcare preferred.
• Epic EHR familiarity is highly preferred.
• Strong computer aptitude; proficient at manipulating and analyzing large databases; Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex financial evaluations of new programs/ventures, including assessment of volume, reimbursement, payor mix, operating costs, working capital needs, and capital requirements in accordance with GAAP.
• Writes queries to extract the appropriate data from various sources and synthesizes data into meaningful financial analyses.
• Assists management with business plan development, service line reporting, revenue and reimbursement analyses, and ad hoc reporting needs.
• Coordinates with data requestors to ensure correct interpretation of results and communicates findings to stakeholders.
