Job summary

Millenniumsoft, Inc is seeking a Healthcare Coalition Preparedness Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison for hospitals and coalition partners within an IDOH district, aligning with emergency preparedness goals and resources.

You will identify gaps, coordinate with the Regional PHEP Coordinator, and support reporting, training, and communications while ensuring compliance with federal/state policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years in public health or public safety emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with the IDOH DEP District and Local Readiness Manager to share needs, challenges, and accomplishments, and to receive guidance
• Participate in IDOH Division of Emergency Preparedness conference calls and staff meetings
• Attend district coalition meetings with the Regional PHEP Coordinator, plus other healthcare meetings or events assigned by the DEP Area Supervisor
• Identify and communicate planning, training, and exercise support needs to the DLR Manager
• Provide guidance on IDOH preparedness efforts, or direct partners to where they can get it
• Help track grant deliverable progress, data collection, and inventory
• Complete reporting and tracking forms as requested by the DLR Manager or Director
• Act as liaison to coalition members by distributing coalition information such as brochures, contact details, and standing meeting information
