Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information technology or cybersecurity.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity leadership or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity programs.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data security, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with enterprise security architecture, cloud security, network security, and IAM.
• Proven ability to lead incident response and risk management initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present security strategies and risks to executives.
• Experience managing cybersecurity budgets, vendors, and strategic technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's enterprise cybersecurity strategy and security roadmap.
• Establish security policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Partner with executive leadership to align cybersecurity initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Manage cybersecurity budgets, technology investments, and security-related vendor relationships.
• Provide regular reporting on cybersecurity risks, initiatives, and performance to executive leadership.
• Oversee enterprise security operations, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Lead the implementation and management of security technologies (firewalls, EDR, SIEM, IAM).
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure and engineering teams to secure networks, cloud environments, and apps.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response plans.
• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure HIPAA/HITECH compliance; lead risk assessments and audits.
• Lead security awareness training and build security-focused culture.
• Build and mentor internal resources and external partners.
• Communicate risks to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
