Job summary

Cyberjobs is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to establish and maintain the information security program, protecting information assets and technology across the organization. The CISO identifies and reports on legal, regulatory, IT, and cybersecurity risk while supporting business objectives and reports to the CIO.

The role requires 10+ years in senior IT roles and 10+ years in Health Plan environments, with leadership experience and qualifications such as CISA/CISM/CISSP or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in MIS, engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years’ experience in senior IT roles required.
• 10 years’ experience and knowledge of the Health Plan business required.
• 3+ years’ experience in a leadership position.
• CISA, CISM or CISSP or ability to obtain within one year in the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the incident response team and collaborate with compliance and legal as appropriate.
• Define, develop, and implement risk management structures, strategies, and policies.
• Govern and respond to risks involving protected data and information systems.
• Identify security challenges and provide tools, skills, resources and capabilities to mitigate risks.
• Determine security policies and strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide senior technical leadership across IT and enterprise directions.
• Oversee IDS architectures, firewall architectures, forensics, and security controls.
• Enforce information security standards and procedures across the organization.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments as appropriate.
• Investigate data security breaches and coordinate internal communications.
• Develop and champion the corporate security awareness program.
