PAM Health is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead its enterprise information security program, protecting ePHI and aligning security with regulatory requirements while enabling clinical operations.

The CISO will set strategy, govern cybersecurity risk, oversee incident preparedness and response, and partner with executive leaders to reduce risk and support digital transformation.

Preference for candidates near Plano, TX or Enola, PA; remote consideration is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, CS, IS, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years information security experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Healthcare security experience with HIPAA/HITECH knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity program across networks, endpoints, servers, cloud, and ePHI environments.
• Establish governance, policies, standards, and risk-based security program aligned to frameworks and healthcare requirements.
• Oversee HIPAA Security Rule alignment, risk analysis, and audits.
• Own security risk management, risk register, remediation tracking, and executive reporting.
• Direct security operations including vulnerability management and threat monitoring.
• Lead incident response, tabletop exercises, and regulatory/contractual notification readiness.
• Embed security into architecture and delivery (security-by-design) across IT projects.
• Oversee IAM governance and third‑party risk management.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Compliance, Legal, HR on security awareness and enforcement.
• Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery security requirements; ransomware resilience.
