Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Chief Financial Officer for Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando. The role oversees accounting, budgeting, and financial strategy across inpatient and outpatient programs in a large behavioral health facility.

The CFO will drive profitability, ensure GAAP compliance, and coordinate with clinical and administrative leadership to optimize patient revenue. A seasoned healthcare finance leader with strong analytical skills is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a financial leadership role in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and controls accounts receivable and oversees Business Office functions to meet cash collection goals.
• Improves profitability by monitoring costs, payor mix, and length of stay to maximize reimbursement.
• Develops and enforces policies and procedures in line with GAAP and corporate guidelines to ensure cash flow and increased revenues.
• Prepares monthly financial statements, packages, and analyses with variance analysis and internal controls.
• Provides required reporting and reconciliations for Reimbursement, Tax, and Auditors.
• Prepares annual budget with management, highlights future needs and trends, and aligns with UHS objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
