Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, located in Bradenton, Florida.

The CFO will lead financial strategy, reporting, and compliance across GAAP, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and payer contracts. Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years of progressive financial experience, preferably in healthcare; a Master’s degree is preferred with 8+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of GAAP, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, and federal/local tax regulations.
• Experience interpreting financial data and preparing reports; proficient in spreadsheets and databases.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; 10+ years progressive financial experience, healthcare preferred. Master’s preferred with 8+ years.

Responsibilities

• Maximize hospital financial performance by analyzing profitability and recommending improvements.
• Oversee hospital financial reporting processes and supervise reporting of operating results.
• Oversee timely filing of federal, state, hospital association, third party, and other financial reports.
• Develop employees, coach teams, set direction, and build commitment.
