The CFO will collaborate with executives across departments, oversee regulatory compliance, and drive cost controls to maximize patient revenue and value for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role in healthcare.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of hospital financial operations, federal and local tax regs; experience with payroll, accounting and discharge processes.
• Ability to interpret financial analyses and prepare schedules/reports from source data.
• Travel ~2% of time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable and business office functions to meet cash collection goals.
• Monitor hospital profitability; manage costs, payor mix, and length of stay to maximize revenue.
• Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyses with variance reporting.
• Provide required reporting for reimbursement, tax, auditors, and executives.
• Assist in annual budgeting and analyze anticipated changes for future needs and trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
