Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for facility-level leadership of financial operations and strategic initiatives. The role drives budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management across hospital operations with strong emphasis on GAAP compliance and data-driven decision making.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (Master's preferred), 15+ years of experience including CFO-level work in acute-care settings, and CPA qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's Degree Preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years' experience with 3 years at CFO level in an acute-care hospital.
• Certifications: CPA Certifications Preferred.
• Licenses: CPA License Preferred.
• Skills: GAAP, financial reporting and leadership in healthcare finance.

Responsibilities

• Administer the general accounting, patient business services, including third party reimbursement, financial, and statistical reporting functions.
• Provide direction in data processing, distributed systems, material management and medical records.
• Develop long and short-range operational and capital budgets aligned with hospital plans.
• Monitor, interpret, and analyze hospital financial performance; identify trends and opportunities.
