Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a Program Manager responsible for defining, planning, and delivering complex programs with cross-functional collaboration. You will manage interdependencies, lead a team of project managers, and ensure alignment with scope, time, and budget across programs.

The role requires 1-3 years in project leadership, with preference for healthcare industry knowledge and SDLC experience. Office-based with travel as needed; PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a project manager role and/or in a project leadership role.
• Healthcare industry knowledge preferred.
• Experience with an industry standard software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Define program strategy and develop the program roadmap with cross-functional activities.
• Assemble project teams and lead Project Managers and program teams.
• Engage with Executive Sponsor and Business Owner to achieve program objectives.
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget; report status to keep program viable.
• Deliver presentations communicating project status across the lifecycle.
• Adhere to project management methodologies and audit requirements; help improve methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
