Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Project Manager to lead mid-size to large initiatives from concept through delivery. You will plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards, while coordinating resources and communications across stakeholders.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, scope and risk management, and team leadership with 25–50% travel. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of PM experience are required; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years of experience in project management to include successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget and managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.)
• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessments.
• Scope Management: Define and manage project scope, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives and changes are controlled.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources to optimize performance and meet deadlines.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate progress, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, mitigate risks, maintain a RAID log, and implement corrective actions.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare status reports and maintain project artifacts and approvals.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and motivate project teams to foster a productive environment.
• Quality Assurance: Implement QA measures to meet defined standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
