Job summary

ARC Health Partners in San Diego seeks an Executive Director to lead clinical and operational strategy, aligning mission with sustainable growth. This role oversees finance, service lines, HR and compliance, partnering with ARC Health leadership to drive high-quality care and community impact.

The ED will set annual goals, direct cross‑functional teams, and cultivate partnerships with health systems, schools, and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Licensed behavioral health professional or clinician (e.g., Psychologist, Psychiatrist/MD/DO, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) or equivalent clinical credential.
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare management experience, including leadership of multi-provider, high-revenue practices and the growth and development of leadership teams.
• Demonstrated success overseeing operations, financial performance, and clinical quality.
• Proven track record developing, implementing, and overseeing SOPs and performance-monitoring systems.
• Proven experience mentoring teams, supervising leaders, and cultivating practice or organizational culture.
• Strong background in community engagement, relationship development, and cross-functional leadership.
• In-depth understanding of EHR systems, billing processes, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall executive leadership to advance the practice's mission, vision, values, and long-term strategic plan.
• Establish and communicate annual and quarterly organizational goals and priorities, ensuring alignment and clear communication across departments and with ARC Health objectives.
• Lead strategic partnership development with health systems, schools, and other key healthcare or community organizations.
• Partner with ARC Health Marketing to develop and execute lead-generation and market-development strategies.
• Identify and cultivate strategic relationships that expand the practice's referral network and growth opportunities.
• Oversee pricing strategy and ensure financial models support growth and mission delivery.
• Oversee leadership team’s management of clinician/provider caseload expectations and productivity targets.
• Collaborate on provider utilization, productivity, and capacity-management initiatives.
• Review financial performance and drive cost-saving and profitability initiatives.
• Partner with billing/revenue cycle staff to ensure optimal revenue cycle performance.
• Provide oversight of service lines to ensure quality and responsiveness to client needs.
• Oversee development and delivery of community outreach and professional development trainings.
