The Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) seeks a fall intern to support communications and research on Medicaid managed care, Medicare, and the health insurance Marketplace. This role offers hands-on experience in a leading health policy organization in Washington, DC.

You will assist with web and social media management, newsletter production, and editing public-facing materials while developing strong written and digital communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have an interest in communications, public relations, and health policy.
• Excellent verbal, computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Support the communications staff on Web and social media management, newsletter production, and editing public-facing materials.
• Assist with other communications initiatives and gain exposure to health policy advocacy.
