Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Health Plan Clinical Advisor to manage the clinical relationship with health plans and influence key decision makers across pharmacy support teams, medical directors, and senior leaders.

The role involves handling 2–4 market segments (Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange or Commercial) and partnering with the SAE/SAD to align clinical goals with business targets while driving efficiency and reducing waste.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managed care pharmacist experience and/or 1 year of Managed Care Residency program.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Client-facing experience within the managed care environment.
• Understanding of utilization management trends and programs within managed care.
• Highly organized with analytical ability, listening and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clinical relationship with health plan stakeholders and drive client priorities.
• Oversee 2–4 market segments (Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange or Commercial).
• Develop and execute business plans to support client profitability and growth; reduce waste and maximize impact.
• Collaborate on formulary strategies, utilization management and clinical program design.
• Travel up to 50% as needed and ensure regulatory compliance with CVSH standards.
