Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in behavioral healthcare, substance use treatment services, and division or department management.
• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health, business, or a related field.
• Thorough understanding of the healthcare environment, including operational, clinical, regulatory, and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, develops, and manages high-performing division directors and department managers.
• Oversees compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and applicable clinical standards.
• Identifies opportunities to optimize the utilization of clinical and administrative staff.
• Evaluates division and departmental performance against established goals and recommends corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborates with the senior leadership team to identify, prepare for, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Develops and maintains external referral partnerships and helps ensure appropriate healthcare services are provided.
• Oversees the timely and accurate completion of required state agency filings.
• Analyzes profit and loss statements and reviews clinical, staffing, and financial forecasts.
• Identifies opportunities to manage expenditures, improve financial performance, and evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Provides strategic direction and oversight of organizational operations.
• Reviews relevant business, operational, clinical, and financial data to inform strategic decisions and guide business divisions.
