Job summary

Crusoe’s Finance team is seeking a Senior Manager to own headcount and OpEx planning across the company, partnering with People, Recruiting, and department leaders to align budgets with hiring plans and strategy.

You’ll own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly actuals reporting, delivering clear variance analyses and proactive recommendations to executive leadership and the board. This high-visibility role offers a chance to shape finance processes in a scaling business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive finance experience with headcount/OpEx planning.
• Strong financial modeling skills and data accuracy.
• Experience partnering with People/Recruiting and translating hiring plans into financial impact.
• End-to-end budgeting and actuals reporting with variance analysis.
• Clear communication of budget drivers to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Headcount planning and forecasting across the company with department leaders.
• Lead annual budgeting and in-year OpEx forecasting with defensible plans.
• Own monthly/quarterly actuals reporting and variance analysis.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and adjust for approved changes.
• Partner with HR and other leaders on budgets, ROI, and benefit ideas.
• Improve tools/processes for headcount/OpEx planning and reporting.
• Prepare executive and board reporting packages with clarity.
