Job summary

JLL in Chicago is seeking a Category Manager - Hard Services to develop and manage category strategies across technical areas such as MEP, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety. You will lead supplier relationships, enable cost and performance improvements, and report to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with internal teams to drive procurement events, RFPs, and contract approvals while applying ethical procurement standards and leveraging data analytics to deliver value for clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain preferred.
• 5–7 years procurement-related technical category management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy and manage category performance.
• Delivery of financial targets and savings reporting.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders for contract approvals and supplier relationships.
• Use data analytics to drive strategy and cost improvements.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply Global Procurement policy.
